What AI Job Risk is
AI Job Risk is an independent project that scores how exposed an occupation is to current AI and automation, on a 0 to 100 scale, using published research rather than opinion. You can look up the baseline for more than 1,100 occupations for free, or answer a few questions to get a score adjusted to how you actually work.
It is built and maintained by one person, not a large company, and it is not funded by any of the firms or institutions whose research it draws on.
Where the numbers come from
Every score aggregates estimates from over 100 peer-reviewed papers and industry reports, including work from the Anthropic Economic Index, McKinsey, PwC, the World Economic Forum, Goldman Sachs, MIT, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. More recent and higher confidence studies carry more weight, and each occupation page lists the specific sources behind its number so you can check the work.

What it is not
A score is a research consensus about the typical version of a role. It is not a prediction about you, your employer, or any single person, and it is not professional career or financial advice. Two people with the same job title can land in very different places depending on seniority, sector, and how routine their day is.
The research itself disagrees, often sharply, which is exactly why the site shows a weighted consensus and the range behind it rather than a single confident figure.
